Tattoo Aftercare

Atercare starts as soon as your tattoo is done. Our artist will apply a thin layer of petroleum ointment over the tattoo, and then cover the area in plastic wrap. This covering prevents bacteria from getting into your skin and also protects the tattoo from rubbing on your clothes and getting irritated.

Keep the wrapping on for a couple of hours so that any fluid or abundant ink that spills from the tattoo will be absorbed.

Following a few hours, you can remove the bandage. Firstly wash your hands with lukewarm water and soap. Then gently clean the tattoo with fragrance-free soap and water.

Pat your skin dry with a soft cloth. Apply a small amount of petroleum ointment to the tattoo. You can keep the bandage off at this point to let your skin breathe.

In the FIRST week ater getting tattooed:
- Avoid getting soap/ other detergents on the tattoo.
- Try to protect the tattoo from direct sunlight and dust from the streets.
- Avoid eating: morning glory (rau muong), beef, sticky rice and seafood as they are likely to cause itchiness and infection,..
- Avoid going swimming (pool/beach) and heavy excercises.

After 3 DAYS since you got the tattoo, please apply the vitamin gel on the tattoo at least TWICE a day.

When the tattoo starts to heal and itch, please DO NOT SCRATCH or PEEL off the scabs.

If your tattoo was done at our shop, after 1 month, you can come back and ask for a free touch-up if you are dissatisfied with how the tattoo turns out.
